World Foods Day
As part of our ongoing work to learn about world cultures, we are planning World Foods Day on Tuesday, April 9
th.
We are searching for volunteers! Can your family purchase something or prepare a recipe that our students can learn about and try samples of on World Foods Day? If so, we would love for you to participate. We do require a list of ingredients and a short description of the food. You can drop it off Tuesday morning in our main office, or bring it in and volunteer to help at one of our tables during the event (11:10 am - 12:55 pm). During their Activity Period, students will be able to view the cuisine that is brought in, learn about foods from around the world, and try some samples! Foods from all cultures are welcomed.
