Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The month of April is dedicated to the joy of the Resurrection and the gift of the Holy Eucharist. Our liturgies reflect this joy, beginning with Easter Sunday on April 5. The sacred season begins with Holy Week early in the month, culminating in the Triduum (April 2–4), which leads us into the celebration of Christ’s Resurrection and the Easter Octave.

We invite you to visit our Living Liturgical section for five meaningful Triduum traditions to help your family enter more deeply into Holy Week.

This month also includes several powerful feast days:

  • Divine Mercy Sunday (April 12)
  • Good Shepherd Sunday (April 26), also known as the World Day of Prayer for Vocations

During this sacred season, let us pray for young men and women to hear and generously respond to the Lord’s call—whether to the priesthood, diaconate, religious life, societies of apostolic life, or secular institutes. Resources to promote vocations within your family can be found on our local PB Vocations webpage, as well as through the USCCB’s “Prayers for Vocations.”

If you would like to learn more about Divine Mercy Sunday and other feast days, visit our Let Us Pray section. There, you will find instructions for praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet, a novena to St. Catherine, and details about the upcoming National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, which begins this May in St. Augustine and concludes in Philadelphia over the 4th of July weekend in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

May this Easter season renew and heal our hearts and fill us with a spirit of unity and togetherness in our Church, our communities, and our country. May God’s mercy and peace be with you.

Cathy, Deacon Louie, Maria, Liliana, Andy,

Cindy, Rosario, and Beth

National Eucharistic Pilgrimage 2026

Walk with Jesus. Pray for the nation. Follow the journey.

In honor of America’s 250th year, the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will carry the theme One Nation Under God. One Nation Under God is not a slogan—it’s an invitation to realign our lives, communities, and country under the sovereignty of Christ. It’s a call to build unity through prayer, and to let Jesus, present in the Eucharist, renew and heal the heart of our country, one soul at a time. As pilgrims on this route, we walk with Christ so that His love might draw our nation back to Him. You’re invited to join us, in person or in spirit, and offer prayers and sacrifices for the renewal of America.

Begins over Memorial Day weekend in St. Augustine, Florida.
