Redwood City Library Foundation Presents the 4th Annual STEAM Fest on the Square!
Join Redwood City Library Foundation on Saturday, April 27 from 11 AM - 3 PM for the 4th Annual STEAM Fest on the Square! Come to the largest one-day outdoor free STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) event in the Bay Area! This year's STEAM Fest on the Square has exhibits and activities that appeal to all ages.
- Find hands-on STEAM activities at 80 exhibitor booths.
- Receive a free tote bag (first 2000 visitors) to fill with hands-on projects, valuable offers, and loads of memories.
- Enjoy back-to-back performances of live music and youth entertainment from 10:30 to 3 PM, including bands, vocal groups, dance groups, and gymnastic performances.
- See robotics demonstrations in Robo Alley.
- Visit Eco Alley and experience more than 10 new electric vehicles, including a new SamTrans all-electric bus.
- Climb inside a police car and fire truck, and learn about the county forensics lab
- Encounter art that addresses the global hazards of plastic pollution, and learn about art connected to the earth by creating mandalas with natural material.
- Get free admission to San Mateo County Historical Museum with Maritime Day activities.

Join us for our second Human Library on Saturday, April 13, 2019!
The aim of the Human Library is to foster conversations that can challenge stereotypes and prejudices. During the event, customers will have the opportunity to check out human "books" to read through one-on-one 20-minute conversations. While our
reservations are nearly full, we are taking at least 30 walk-in signups day of, so stop on by!
Our human books will be: Cancer Survivor, Recovered Addict and her Son, Transgender, Muslim, Developmentally Disabled, Formerly Homeless, Police Officer, Dreamer, Computer Scientist, Blind Individual, and Reformed Gang Member.
