Due to the high number of orders this year and our high quality standards, orders may take 4 to 6 months from the date you dropped it off.

Recipe: Apple Pork Chop Bake

Ingredients
4 to 6 boneless Pork Chops
3 apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup Butter
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 tablespoon Corn Starch (optional)
Salt and Ground Pepper, to taste
Minced Rosemary for garnish

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Put sliced apples in the bottom of a large baking dish and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
  • Put pork chops on top of the apple slices and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a pan over medium-high heat, combine the butter and brown sugar. Whisk until melted, then stir in the remaining cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Whisk in the corn starch, if using. Corn starch is only necessary if you want a thicker glaze.
  • Pour the mixture over the pork chops and apple slices, then bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked to the desired doneness.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with rosemary.
Louie's Brat Haus is opening on April 16!
Louie's Brat Haus is the food truck in Louie's parking lot and it will be open many dates during spring, summer, and fall. The Brat Haus is a fundraiser ran by volunteers to benefit many local non-profit organizations. The Brat Haus took a year off in 2020, but we are ready to get it open again! Organizations will be following COVID-19 precautions while running the Brat Haus.

The Brat Haus serves Louie's Brats, Old-Fashioned Hot Dogs, and more.

Running late? With the longer evening hours, we offer after-hours pickup of Louie's meat orders. Call ahead and pick your order up at the Lodge!

If you prefer a more distanced option, we continue to offer curbside pickup of orders. Give Louie's a call at (715-822-4728) the day before, and we will get your order ready to bring to your car when you get here!
