Aloha !
The past couple of weeks have been a challenging stretch across our islands, with back to back Kona Low storms bringing intense rain and flooding, especially on Oʻahu and Molokaʻi. Maui saw impacts as well, with washouts and road damage in a few areas, but crews have been working quickly to clear mud and debris and restore safe access.
The storms have passed, and the forecast is trending back toward the bright, dry days we all love. In South Maui, most areas are moving again, with ongoing work on damaged sections of South Kīhei Road and most businesses already back open.
If you would like to support those most impacted by the flooding, Maui United Way is a trusted nonprofit helping local families and strengthening the organizations providing relief.
Maui is open and ready to welcome you. One of the best ways to support our community right now is simply by visiting. When you come, you’re directly helping local families and businesses—whether it’s dining at local restaurants, visiting coffee shops, or shopping locally.
We are a tourism-based community, and your visit plays a meaningful role in our recovery. Maui still has so much to offer, and we would be honored to host you!
Warmest Aloha,
The Ali'i Resorts Ohana
