Leaky Road Creates Live Training Opportunity for Students
Students enrolled in Simmonds & Bristow’s Water Industry Worker (WIW) Course were treated to a real-life experience in Sarina recently.

Mackay Regional Council, along with Simmonds & Bristow, investigated a ‘leaky road’ which affected the local school and caravan park. Simmonds & Bristow grasped the opportunity to conduct a real-life training exercise involving their specialist training team and students, working in partnership with the council.

100 Industry Stakeholders Gather at the Queensland Water Skills Forum
Liz Millan, Training Services Manager & Chief Trainer, joins about 100 water industry stakeholders to participate in the fourth annual Queensland Water Skills Forum. It was hosted as a hybrid event with most delegates attending in person and the remainder online.
