Community Spirit Shines at Honeywood Hockey Tournament
The Honeywood Men’s Hockey Tournament on April 3 - 4, 2026 was an outstanding success! A grand total of $13,840.00 was raised to go towards the renovations of our beloved arena. A HUGE thank you to Cory Matthews, who organized the tournament and Christine Marcoux, who organized this year's Silent Auction, which helped raise over $3,500.00.
This kind of endeavour cannot work without a dedicated group of volunteers. From helping to set up the schedules, getting referees, keeping the ice surface in good shape, working the time clock, selling 50/50 tickets, bartending, setting up and working on the silent auction, picking up garbage, controlling exuberant behaviours and cleaning up.
What a wonderful community of caring individuals we live in. GO HONEYWOOD GO!!!!!
