NCART Hosts Lobbying Day at the Oregon Capitol

NCART was proud to host our members at the Oregon Capitol in Salem, OR, for two days of meetings with legislators. The group advocated for two bills- right-to-repair and elimination of prior authorization for CRT repairs. The group consisted of representatives from NCART, Bellevue Healthcare, and National Seating & Mobility. Wayne Grau, executive director of NCART, said, “The group that attended did a great job educating members of the Oregon legislature about the issues with both bills. Legislators often lack an understanding of the complexity of our industry and the services we provide to patients. We must help them understand why bills can have a positive or negative effect on their constituents. I was very proud of the group pictured below; they did a fantastic job.”
