Apply For Help

Scholarships

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Thank you to all the individuals who have applied for a scholarship.

We are proud to confirm that future leaders in the hospitality industry look up to the BC Hospitality Foundation for support through our Scholarship Program.

Our various judging panels are reviewing all applications. We received over 15 applications to the various Culinary Legacy Scholarships, over 15 applications for the Culinary program and over 35 applications for the BC WISE, Wine Professional and wine development Legacy scholarships.

Winners will be contacted the last week of April with details on their award presentation:

  • Vancouver International Wine Festival Luncheon, April 28 - Terry Threlfall Legacy Scholarship, Tony Ryan Legacy Scholarship and Wine Professional Scholarships.
  • Okanagan 2nd Annual Golf Tournament, May 18 - BC WISE Scholarship
  • BCHF AGM in Penticton - June 21 or Vancouver/Victoria Golf Tournaments depending on the winner's location - Culinary and culinary Legacy Scholarships

Thank you to our sponsors that make this possible!

We are proud to continue helping hospitality industry workers following our mandate to be there when there is nowhere else for them to turn to. We are their "last resort" and hope to provide them with the support they need to be able to recover and return to work.
