The medication Tepezza, prescribed as a treatment for thyroid eye disease or Graves' eye disease, has been linked to permanent hearing loss. 65% of Tepezza patients reported hearing problems to the Endocrine Society.

One man who received Tepezza infusions for his thyroid eye disease from June – September 2020 and was diagnosed with permanent hearing loss has sued Horizon Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Tepezza.

According to the consumer agency, the recall has been issued because there is a faulty wire connection inside the air fryers. This results in air fryers smoking, melting, burning, and otherwise overheating. Several reports made to the CPSC involved burns and other minor injuries; there was also property damage reported.
