COVID-19 Business Loans
The multitrillion-dollar Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, complete with various Small Business Administration loans, tax fixes and other aid to companies of all sizes, is merely to buy time in the hopes that the economic damage caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus can be reversed quickly when it ends . Know your options before you contact your friendly banker and begin the process that has already

The following links will help you understand your options.

Step-by-Step guide for emergency loans
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses.

Importantly, these loans may be forgiven if borrowers maintain their payrolls during the crisis or restore their payrolls afterward.

The administration soon will release more details including the list of lenders offering loans under the program. In the meantime, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has issued this guide to help small businesses and self-employed individuals prepare to file for a loan.
Model your cash needs & evaluate your financing options
As small businesses reel from the business disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important to know the cash needs of your business over the coming months and the financing options available to you.

One compelling option is the Small Business Administration’s 7(a) loan expansion, which was part of the newly signed CARES Act. It’s recommended that all small businesses with under 500 employees consider applying for the loan if you’ve experienced business disruption as a result of COVID-19. Read more from our friends at:

Understanding The New "Fast-Pass" Small Business Bankruptcy Process
On February 19, 2020, the Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019 (SBRA) took effect.
The SBRA added a new subsection to Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, so creditors may hear it called Subchapter V. It creates a faster and less expensive Chapter 11 reorganization path for small business debtors. Since it's been effective for less than a month, we don't yet know how everything will work in practice. The SBRA includes many new provisions, but here are the key differences from a regular Chapter 11 that creditors should keep top of mind. For more, click below:

Export Credit Insurance - EXIM Bank
Businesses across the U.S. are doing what they can to maintain sales, but relying upon receivables from customers in Europe, Asia or even South America may seem like a risky proposition. If you’re concerned that overseas customers may begin to slow-pay on receivables or, worse, go out of business, there are government-sponsored programs in place that can help.

Export Credit Insurance  protects you from these scenarios and more, reducing the risk of buyer nonpayment and allowing you to commit to export sales without fear of loss during the Coronavirus pandemic.

What does the Coronavirus mean for business?
You’ve probably seen the coronavirus affect your life by now.
And if you’ve been watching the markets — which have been tumultuous , to say the least — you’ve probably realized the coronavirus is having a big impact on the business world, too.
Over the coming weeks and months, few aspects of business won’t be affected to some degree by the coronavirus.
