Textile Printmaking with Kym Fulmer |
Design and print your own tee in this printmaking workshop! Create a design, make a printing plate, and then print your customized shirt. Students will get individualized attention from local printmaking artist Kym Fulmer. This is an opportunity to create patterns, experiment with blending colors, and print multiple times over a surface. *A unisex tee will be provided, but students can also bring their own textile(s) to print on. (Limit 6 students).
Please note the cost of this specialized workshop is $35.

Still Spots Left in iGrow Summer Learning Lab |
|
In iGrow Summer Learning Lab children explore their own creativity, as well as the inspiring natural and cultural environment of the East End of Long Island.
iGrow Summer Learning Lab is a full-day program that takes place Monday thru Friday during the summer season, from June 28 - August 27, 2021. This program is for children ages 5 to 13. Space is limited.
All Project MOST programs adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols as set by the CDC and NYS Dept. of Health.

According to an analysis that followed three nonprofits providing arts education to youth after school across the country, “children who participate in the [afterschool] arts succeed academically, socially, and cognitively” and show “marked gains, as compared to their peers, in most behavioral and academic areas.” Afterschool maximizes in-school hours in a flexible and attentive learning environment designed to enrich. Project MOST provides enriching academic and elective opportunities across a range of subjects at a subsidized cost. This includes a New York State SACC-licensed after school program, a nine-week summer learning program, plus year-round evening and weekend workshops and academic assistance in the areas of Arts & Culture, S.T.E.M., and Health & Wellness. We provide financial aid as needed so that no child is left out of our programs due to finances. Your donation helps us continue to turn non-school hours into learning hours, encouraging natural curiosity and the joy of knowledge for the youngest members of our community. |
