Children's Bereavement Groups Now Forming
|

Waveny-VNH and the Red Balloon for Children and Families are offering new bereavement groups for children. Individual groups for ages 4-7, 8-12, 13-19 and a concurrent parents' group will take place over four sessions beginning May 5th. Groups will meet at the Wilton Teen Center and are open to children and their parents from all surrounding towns. Supporting the New Canaan Thrift Shop is the perfect way to celebrate Earth Day! Support to those who have lost a loved one is a big part of our mission. Specialized bereavement support groups like those described in this newsletter are held year-round, both in person and via Zoom. Since the start of 2022, we have served over 50 individuals in our support groups. All bereavement groups are open to area residents and are always free of charge, please join us.
