Houston BCycle COVID-19 Recommendations
BCycle wants to make sure you take extra precautions when borrowing a bike:

1) Wash you hands before and after every BCycle trip
2) Wear gloves if you can
3) Avoid touching your face
4) Ride 6 feet from others

We'd also recommend bringing your own water bottle.

Polk Street Under Construction
The project, between Emancipation Ave. and Cullen Blvd., will replace two existing bike lanes with two protected bike lanes, which will provide a safer environment for all travelers in this section of Polk Street.

The design features “floating bus stops,” which are dedicated waiting and boarding platforms for passengers adjacent to the travel lane. The design will streamline transit service, improve accessibility and eliminate conflicts between buses and bikes at bus stops. The bike lane will continue behind the bus stop to avoid disrupting the flow of bike traffic.
