Dear friends,
In April and year-round, Interfaith Outreach celebrates the generous investment of time, energy, talent and resources of volunteers whose heart and heft and expertise routinely make 1 + 1 = 6.
Safe to say, there's no greater return on investment than that made by Interfaith's 2,000+ wonderful, faithful, smart, fun volunteers.
It's not just an amazing numeric return on investment -- impressive as that is. It's sheer wonderful, heartfelt magic that day in and day out, year in and year out, is changing the odds for some very precious families and kids.

Happy National Volunteer Month!

April 23-29 is National Volunteer Week -- one of our favorite times of the year at Interfaith Outreach. Actually, the entire month  is a time to celebrate each and every one of you who make our community go 'round.

Interfaith Outreach volunteers say YES to so many of our invitations -- invitations to give time and talent, invitations to take on new leadership roles and invitations to bring your friends alongside the meaningful work we do together. But most importantly, you continue to say YES to work alongside struggling families and kids in our community and build a better future for us all. Thank you for saying YES to your irreplaceable role at Interfaith Outreach.
This week we tip our hats to all 2,009 of you! Thank you for staying with us.

Thank you for fighting hunger

Thank you to all who helped make Interfaith Outreach's Prevent Hunger campaign a success! It was wonderful to see the community engaged in food drives, donations, events and more in an effort to fight hunger. We are pleased to announce that your generosity brought us to a combined 238,586 of food shelf donation pounds and dollars. Amazing!

By participating in Prevent Hunger, you are also a huge part of the larger MN FoodShare March Campaign, a statewide effort that stocks up over 300 Minnesota food shelves to make sure no family goes hungry. And, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a blessing to the thousands of people who depend on Interfaith Outreach's food shelf, employment services and family support throughout the year! We can't do our work without you.
