Blessed Holy Week and happy Easter. As we complete our Lenten Journey together, we look forward into Eastertide with hope and joy. The Resurrection of our Lord takes away the sting of death, and we are entering into new life this week. Much love to all of you and to your families as you celebrate.

There is a link to the PDF of the Companion Guide. Thanks to St. David's for making this available.
An option for Good Friday devotions at home is The Way of the Cross, offered by Virginia Theological Seminary. Through scripture, art, and music, the video invites us to walk with Christians of every generation on a virtual pilgrimage, meditating on our Lord’s passion and death. https://youtu.be/d7N6dqNV3Wk

LENTEN OUTREACH
Soup Cook

For the last six weeks we have delivered homemade soups to The Great Valley Food Cupboard. Profound thanks to all of the participating soup cooks—Pattie Booker, Pam Faber, Nina Gauthron, Carlie Hutton, Dorothy Maddock, Deb Parker, Bev Reinhardt, Sarah Rittenhouse, Sherrill Rowland, Abby Thomas and Susan Underwood. We delivered 102 quarts of soup and the variety was overwhelming. Various types of vegetable, tomato, beef barley, broccoli cheddar, potato, split pea, ham & bean, minestrone, chicken noodle, chili and even clam chowder! All the comments from the recipients were so positive and complimentary, but by far the most powerful one was "I can't believe someone took the time to make this for me." Thanks for taking the time to make everyone feel special. Happy Easter!
BIBLE DISCUSSION
Jonah: The Runaway Prophet

After Easter Sunday, the Bible Discussion group will take a one-week break on April 6th and will then resume conversations at 1 pm on April 13th.

The next book of the Bible that we will discuss is Jonah. This is the runaway prophet who discovered that God is not a passive God, but one that is involved, moving, and expects us to be in relationship! Bring your life experiences to the discussions and join us.
