| | Transform 220 Design Phase Update | | Barrington 220's Transform 220 initiative is currently in the design phase, which will continue through January 2026. Throughout winter and early spring, focus groups met with team leads—staff members with direct connections to each planned project—to identify opportunities, discuss challenges, and share inspirational images. District administrators have taken multiple site tours and are meeting frequently with team leads and DLA Architects to further define the objectives for each Transform 220 project. To view additional information on Transform 220, including a detailed timeline, click here. | Attention to Attendance: Checking In | |
Barrington 220 values student attendance. Each month we're sharing attendance facts with you in our Attention to Attendance section. This month’s focus is on what to do when a student returns to school following an appointment.
Please remember that if your child is going to a medical or dental appointment, a note from the healthcare provider is required for the absence to be excused. The note can be uploaded using the Parent Portal when entering the absence, or can be brought to the attendance office upon the student's return to school. Even if the note has been uploaded via the portal, students still need to stop in at the front office or attendance desk to check in. Students who do not check in will continue to be marked absent.
