VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION MONTH!

Event volunteers are critical to The Alpha Group. This month, we'd like to thank you publicly. We see your efforts and appreciate YOU!

Our next Zoom Duck Derby is July 13 and volunteers are needed! Please contact chelsieholmes@alphagroup.net to be added to our volunteer database. You'll receive volunteer requests and updates throughout the year.

ALPHA UPDATES

Our CEO, Liz Owens, presented at the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Workforce Symposium. She shared more information about several projects that were recently funded by grants. One project supports team members by partnering with an established employee resource network, while another supported the creation of a Frontline Leadership Program to help emerging leaders become effective managers.

Our Delaware Integrated Adult Day program rolled to victory with a fun bowling outing!

Our Westerville Integrated Adult Day Program attendees went all out celebrating St. Patrick’s Day!

From festive outfits to fun activities, it was a day filled with positivity and a little extra luck.

Zoom Duck Derby

We have a new race goal this year of 7,000 rubber ducks! Once again, they will swim down the Lazy River at Zoombezi Bay to raise money for programs and services for people with disabilities.

Rubber ducks are $5 each, and the first three ducks to cross the finish line win up to $1,500! Duck sales start on May 1.

There is plenty to do while we wait for duck sales to open!

Become a sponsor! We have many ways to get involved and each sponsorship level comes with tickets to the event. Sponsorships start at $100. Contact Chelsie Holmes at chelsieholmes@alphagroup.net or call/text 614-843-5582.
Promote the event by hosting our 5-foot inflatable duck. Waddles can be placed inside your lobby or outside your front door. Contact Kathryn at marketing-intern2@alphagroup.net.
Promote the event by becoming a Duck Adoption Site. We will supply you with adoption forms, flyers and paper ducks for donors to write on and display. Contact Chelsie Holmes at chelsieholmes@alphagroup.net or call/text 614-843-5582.
