The Brothers of Mercy Announces

Retirement of CEO Peter Eimer

The Board of Directors of The Brothers of Mercy Holding, Inc. today announced that Chief Executive Officer Peter C. Eimer will retire effective August 31, 2026. Eimer has held the role since 2016, with responsibility for the strategic planning and operations of the $40 million skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care, rehabilitation, and independent living communities that comprise The Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus.

After joining the organization in 2001 as the Foundation Director, Eimer assumed management of finances for The Brothers Congregation in 2003. 25 Years of Caritas!

On Friday, May 8, The Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Caritas Awards Gala at Salvatore's, a milestone evening that brings the community together in support of residents and programs across campus. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the residents and communities served by The Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus.

This year’s event will honor Dave and Joan Rogers, OLV Charities, and Clarence Wall and Ceiling. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with live string musicians and open bar, followed by dinner and the evening program. In a new tradition for Caritas, this year’s event will be held on a Friday and will conclude with an after-party featuring a 19-piece band.

Supporters do not have to wait until event night to get involved. Online bidding is now open for this year’s live auction packages featuring Sabres Games, Dinners at Russell’s, and in-home Chef Dinner with Josh Allen’s private chef, Nick Coleman! Raffle tickets are available now for a chance to win $1,200 in gift cards. It is an opportunity to be part of Caritas, support The Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus, and build excitement for an unforgettable evening.
