COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SIGN UP

Madison may have followed in her sister's footsteps when she chose to become a Hands4Hope participant, but she has undoubtedly found her own way and discovered her own passions and skills through her 430+ hours of lifetime service. She is currently serving as the Placerville Community Engagement Ambassador, and recently enjoyed working with the other Community Engagement Ambassadors to do a "deep dive" on the Green Valley Community Church Common Ground opportunity and create a video about it. Check it out and learn more about Madison's remarkable journey with Hands4Hope!

MEET MADISON

The Hands4Hope Empty Bowls Committee wrapped up their service-learning experience by reflecting on their incredibly successful Empty Bowls Dinner, held on March 8, 2025. This is the second year that a youth-led Hands4Hope committee has coordinated this community event from start to finish. This year, the event raised nearly $20,000 to support four organizations that fight hunger. Committee participants alone tallied more than 550 service hours to implement this large event, that served about 600 guests and featured live music, craft and art vendors, raffles, and of course delicious soup served in beautiful handmade bowls!

CLUB PROJECTS & UPDATES LIST

Pamela and John Dennis came to Hands4Hope relatively recently, but it's hard to imagine our programs and activities without them! Since becoming fingerprinted Adult Leads last June, they have participated through Endless Summer Beach Party Committee, Empty Bowls Committee, Mercy Senior Dinner, Hands4Hope Fall Festival, and so much more. We are so grateful to have them involved!
