Congratulations to the 57 graduates of Jumpstart Germantown’s Winter 2024 Class! We are continuously inspired by all the training program participants dedicated to improving their communities through real estate development. 

Throughout the 5 week program participants meet and learn from a dozen different presenters in the industry, ranging from lenders and architects to contractors and real estate agents. Participants also have the opportunity to visit a property undergoing renovation and talk with the developer about the project. Over 13+ hours our graduates learn about the 7 JumpSteps of Residential Real Estate Development as well as network with one another and guest speakers.

Meet Janis!

A warm welcome for our new Jumpstart Philly co-op, Janis Niv! Janis is a junior at Drexel University majoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation with minors in Real Estate and Business Consulting. 

She is passionate about equitable housing, sustainability, and making Philadelphia a better place to be. She is very excited to be working with a firm dedicated to helping first-time developers become entrepreneurs through real estate. For the next 6 months, Janis will be assisting us with loan evaluations, social media marketing, JUMPinars, and our many other operations!

Her future goals are to get the real estate license in PA, be a graduate of the Jumpstart Philly program and pursue real estate rehabilitation and development on the side. 

During her free time, Janis is learning Hindi, Spanish, and sewing! We’re so excited to have Janis as part of the Jumpstart community!
