Sexual Assault Awareness Month is a crucial time dedicated to raising public awareness about the prevalence of sexual violence and promoting prevention efforts. Throughout this month, various organizations, activists, and communities come together to educate, support survivors, and advocate for policies aimed at ending sexual assault. It's a time to engage in important conversations about consent, boundaries, and healthy relationships, while also challenging harmful societal norms that perpetuate rape culture. By shedding light on this issue, Sexual Assault Awareness Month serves as a reminder of the urgent need for societal change and solidarity in creating a world free from sexual violence.

Our Executive Director, Lindsey Boyer, spoke with Utah's Noon News about the ongoing federal funding cuts impacting local domestic violence services. The organization is facing a $160,000 gap in funding, exacerbated by the loss of VOCA and COVID-related funds.
