April 2026

Sexual Assault Awareness Month is a crucial time dedicated to raising public awareness about the prevalence of sexual violence and promoting prevention efforts. Throughout this month, various organizations, activists, and communities come together to educate, support survivors, and advocate for policies aimed at ending sexual assault. It's a time to engage in important conversations about consent, boundaries, and healthy relationships, while also challenging harmful societal norms that perpetuate rape culture. By shedding light on this issue, Sexual Assault Awareness Month serves as a reminder of the urgent need for societal change and solidarity in creating a world free from sexual violence. Follow us on FacebookLinkedIn, or Instagram for ideas throughout the month on how you can make a difference.

We’re honored to welcome Tiffany Turley Bowcut as a keynote speaker at our upcoming event, SVS Community Breakfast. In our latest blog, Tiffany shares her journey as an advocate, survivor, and community leader — and reflects on how faith, policy, and collective care intersect to support survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Her perspective offers a powerful preview of the insight and compassion she’ll bring to the stage as our keynote speaker.

Interested in sponsoring our breakfast? There's still time! For more information on our different sponsorship levels and individual tickets, check out the link below. April 15 is the deadline for ads in our program!
