Greetings!

To paraphrase Charles Dickens: It was the best of times; then it was the worst of times. Today, all of us have been impacted by the worldwide, Covid-19 pandemic. We offer our heartfelt sympathies for those who have been more severely impacted. 
 
All of you are cognizant of the havoc being wreaked on the travel industry. Your cruises have been cancelled, your tours have been cancelled, your air has been cancelled, tour sightseeing has been reduced to reviewing your travel photos. This newsletter is a microcosm of that reality. Gone are many of the cruises and tours that were featured just last month. The Oberammergau tour, for example, has been postponed until 2022 but our tour company is working in a chronological order to offer refunds or rescheduling options. We cannot provide a date that those of us scheduled to travel in August will receive our options. However, we are here to assist all of you in working through any planned trip. 
 
Our travel suppliers are working to provide very lenient cancellation options. Many are quite generous, giving our clients bonuses for future travel. If your upcoming travel is affected, you can feel secure that we will provide all of your possible options so you are able to make an informed decision.
 
The very good news is this; we are a remarkably resilient people; we will get through this together; there is already some encouraging data on the positive impact of social distancing. We are in this together, and we will prevail together. There is light at the end of the tunnel. It is in that spirit, we include in this newsletter our October 2-7, 2021 Gold Service adventure on the fabulous Rocky Mountaineer.
