Spirit Alive Church
April, 2018
We see a welcoming family, living the Gospel of Grace. We see a family where people can safely seek, question, and be revived.  We see a family energized by the Spirit alive in our midst.
" Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life.[a] Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying."
John 11:25 (NLT)

ELCA Outreach Center Collection soap-leaves-stilllife.jpg
For the month of April the ELCA Outreach Center is collecting socks again. Because we do a large collection of socks in October, we will also collect personal hygiene items such as deodorant, soap, etc. Of course all donations are always needed and welcome. There will be a box in the Narthex for collecting these items. Karl and the Outreach Center truly appreciate our ongoing support.

Bike Blessing - Save the Date

We are invited to join St. Pauls' for the Lake Shore HOG's 29th Annual Blessing of the Bikes on Sunday, May 6th, 2018.

We will gather at Lake Shore Harley-Davidson (14000 W. Rockland Road, Libertyville, IL) at 10 AM, and kickstands will be up at NOON where we will ride to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kenosha, WI.

Once a month after the Children's Message, the youth will have a "noisy offering." They will pass a container to collect coins (or bills) from the congregation. Our Youth will use this offering to "buy" gifts (Doctor
appointment, piglet, chicks, etc.) thru the ELCA Good Gift Program. The next noisy offering is Sunday, March 4. Please give generously!
