Refer another family to Haymarket Children's Academy and get a free week!! Once the referred family has been enrolled for three consecutive months, the referring family will get one free week of tuition for one child. If the referring family has more than one child enrolled, the free week will go towards the child with the lowest tuition, minus discount. |

We are still enrolling for Haymarket Children’s Academy’s before / after care program in the Outpost! We have a weekly tuition of $131 for before / after care, or a weekly tuition of $105 if you only need before care, or after care.
When enrolled in the before / after care program you get a discounted rate of $35 for a holiday / teacher workday camps, where we have all day fun activities and field trips for campers! Meals and snacks are provided.

We are enrolling for Kindergarten and 1st Grade! Kindergarten and 1st Grade hours are from 9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday. Haymarket Children's Academy offers before and after care (6:30am-6:30pm). |

We are very excited to start our very FIRST first-grade program here at HCA! Our program focus on social-emotional development as well as academics but we are shifting from a "play-based" model to a "project-based" style of learning. In a project-based learning environment, children gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended length of time on a question, problem or challenge. We also understand that the state has guidelines and we will incorporate the state standards for first grade while keeping a more "hands-on" experience for the kids!
There is $100 registration fee and the tuition will be $338/wk. But like kindergarten this year, that will include your supplies, camp days, meals/snacks, and before and aftercare.

After many requests, we wanted to provide our HCA family with the GoFundMe page for Ms. Juliana. For the last two and a half years Ms. Juliana has been a fundamental part of our Haymarket Children’s Academy family. |
|
She is the first face many of us see each morning, greeting us with a smile and warm welcome. Staff members have been trained by her, families have been helped by her, and most problems in the school get solved by the handiwork of Juliana. Juliana has taken care of all of us, and now it is our time to return the favor and help her. Ms. Juliana has started her breast cancer treatment, and many staff members and families have reached out asking how they can help support her in this time.

Summer Camp in the Outpost |
|
Enrollment has opened up for Spring Break and Camp Blue Ridge, our summer camp program for school age students. Children will be divided into two groups; those who just finished kindergarten and first grade (cubs) and children who have finished second grade through 12 years old (bears). Campers will be going on three weekly field trips, along with in house fun every day!

We will have our annual Egg Hunt on April 15 at 10:00am.
We will have a fun day full of activities, egg hunt and lots of arts and crafts.

STEM might be necessary for technological progress, but without the arts, it is impossible for students to reach their full potential, because art subjects give students the freedom to harness the capabilities of STEM subjects.
It also explores where art naturally fits into the STEM subjects. Studying art subjects contributes to the development of essential skills like collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking. It also enhances a student’s flexibility, adaptability, productivity, responsibility, and innovation. All of these skills are required for a successful career in any field of study.

Children need to move their bodies and eat healthy foods. Families can promote healthy habits by encouraging children to eat nutritious foods and get some exercise every day. Here are some suggestions.

Home-Based Symptom Screening |
If your child has any of the following symptoms, they might have an illness they can spread to others.
Check your child for these symptoms before they go to school.
- Temperature
- 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
- Sore throat
- Cough
- Difficulty breathing
- Diarrhea or vomiting
- New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever
If your child HAS any of the symptoms above:
- Keep them home from school
- Contact the school and report that your child is sick.
- If you have resons to get tested for Covid, stay home until you have the results
