Chamber Chat Newsletter

Always nice to kick off each month with our very welcoming Breakfast Club networking. Once again, another terrific crowd of members joined in to make this the successful event what it is. You never know just who might visit each month, which is what makes Breakfast Club so unique. This month, in addition to the approximately 35 Chamber members, we welcomed Wakefield Town Council member Ed Dombrowski, Wakefield Town Administrator Steve Maio, Police Chief Steve Skory, Deputy Chief Craig Calabrese and State Representative Donald Wong! If you’re not taking advantage of this open invitation to meet new people and create new networking opportunities, then you need to ask yourself “why not”? So, take a few minutes on the first Thursday of the month and stop by Brothers and see what your peers have known for quite a long time. You will be glad you did.

Approaching very quickly on Wednesday April 19th is the Chamber’s next bi-monthly Women in Business meeting. Come join a terrific group of professional women, enjoy a bite to eat and listen to a fascinating guest speaker! Click here to register.

The excitement is building as we approach the renewal and relaunching of the very successful Blossoms at the Beebe! After a three (3) year hiatus, this very successful and popular spring event is returning. At this year’s gala, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the library’s opening and will feature a Centennial Jubilee theme with a flower show, special musical entertainment, dancing on both levels of the library, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and a cash bar. The special VIP guest for the evening will be WCVB morning news anchor Doug Meehan. This GALA styled event is slated for Saturday, April 29 from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm. To purchase your tickets please follow the link provided or contact the Chamber office for more information.: www.blossomsatbeebe.com

In additional to our Women in Business Luncheon and our Blossoms at the Beebe, we have a number of other exciting and fun events coming soon! Keep an eye out for our Annual Bowling Ball Fundraiser on Thursday, May 25 and the Chamber Annual Meeting Thursday, June 15. Be sure to join us on the Lynnfield Common for the Healthy Living Expo Saturday May 20th from 10:00 am-1:00 pm – this is a family event and there will be fun activities for all ages.
