Millage Renewal Supported by GICC
Chamber Board members voted unanimously to support the ten-year tax renewal for maintenance and operations put forth by the Iberia Parish School System. May 4th is election day, and early voting begins April 20th.

The excitement doesn't end with one ribbon cutting, as we have another one coming up on May 1st! The new renovation and grand reopening of Burger King here in New Iberia is set to be an event you won't want to miss.

16th Annual Iberia Medical Center Golf Tournament
April 5th | Squirrel Run Golf Course

The 3-man scramble tournament will be held on Friday, April 5 at Squirrel Run Golf Club and kicks off at 7 am with breakfast, followed by a shotgun start at 8 am. The registration fee is $125 per player and includes driving range, green fees, cart, lunch, drinks and snacks. Sponsorships are also available and provide businesses and organizations with excellent promotional value. Levels of sponsorship participation start at $200.





New Women's Diagnostic Center at Iberia Medical Center

Iberia Medical Center is pleased to announce the opening of the Women’s Diagnostic Center. This new center is located at our IMC North Campus, 600 N. Lewis Street. This wonderful addition is the new location for women’s imaging, including mammography, breast ultrasound and breast biopsies.  The decision to move these services to one location is the result of feedback from our patients and will create a new level of comfort, convenience and privacy for the women of Iberia Parish. Call 337.374.7539 to schedule your mammogram or to inquire about services.

St. Francis Diner BBQ Event
April 14th is St. Francis Diner's Annual BBQ Sale. Tickets can be purchased at the diner or from any board member. Tickets are $8, and the event starts at 10:30am


Delcambre Seafood and Farmers Market 2019 Season
The Delcambre Seafood & Farmers Market commences its 2019 season on April 6 from 9am to 1pm. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos along with 60 vendors of all types, fun jump for the kids, local seafood, shrimp & grits, the Cajun Stompers, and Bloody Marys and Mimosas.

Bayou Carlin Cove Pavilion Extension
The Twin Parish Port Commission announces it will commence construction in April of the extension of it Bayou Carlin Cove Pavilion. The extension was needed due to increased attendance of vendors and visitors to the monthly farmers market.

Jeep & 4x4 Poker Run
The 5th annual Jeep & 4x4 Poker Run is coming this month! Come show your support for Acadiana's Hope for a Cure Society on April 13th.

















Annual Voice for Victims Rally
You are invited to the 16th Annual VOICE for Victim's Rally. This event, hosted by the Voices of Innocent Citizens Empowered Support Group, will feature guest speakers, a Q&A portion, and a butterfly release amongst other activities. Read more below.
