Hello Friends!

I’m trying to remember that “April Showers bring May Flowers” as we tolerate these crazy weather swings! Let’s hope for sunshine and rainbows as the month progresses!

We’re getting ready for our Annual Jeans & Jewels Gala which be held April 26. A limited number of single tickets are being offered at $125 each. It’s a fun evening, delicious dinner, lively auction and a chance to support the important work we do. Additionally, Table Sponsorships start at $1000 so if you know a group or business that would like to support us, please send them our way. Deadline for sponsorships is April 10. Email Cathy for more info. If you can’t attend but would like to support, please consider donating a raffle item or homemade dessert for our sweets table!!

We are thrilled to bring back our American Sign Language (ASL) classes! Thank you to UCP for providing classroom space and deepest appreciation to instructor Heidi Hollander for her leadership and instruction. We anticipate another session of classes later in the year. If you are interested in learning another language, stay turned for more info.

No matter the weather, keep a spring in your step and a song in your heart!

Wild West Gala

It is that time of year again friends. Grab your tickets to our Wild West Gala on April 26 before it's too late! The evening is filled with good food, good friends, fun auctions, and music to dance the night away.

Golf with First Tee

Springtime is here, and so is Golf with First Tee! Join us for a 4-week skills camp, which will help participants progress as they learn about the sport of golf. All coaches are First Tee trained and love working with beginners.

Sessions will be held on Fridays, May 9 - May 30 from 4:30-5:30PM at Dryden Golf Course.

disABILITIES Awareness Night

Grab the family and join us for a baseball game with the Modesto Nuts as we celebrate disABILITIES Awareness Night on Friday, June 20. Come and cheer on our Modesto Nuts as we take on the San Jose Giants. Let's go Nuts!

Sensory Friendly Films

The summer Sensory Friendly Film list is here. Grab the kiddos and enjoy a nice movie with the family with our friends at the State Theatre. This amazing event is possible thanks to Sutter Health and Kadiant. This free movie-going experience is for the whole family where children of all abilities are welcome.

All movies are on Wednesday afternoons starting at 4:30PM.
