A Word From Our Director

Hello Friends!

I’m trying to remember that “April Showers brings May Flowers” as we tolerate these crazy weather swings! Let’s hope for sunshine and rainbows as the month progresses!

We’re getting ready for our Annual Jeans & Jewels Gala which will be held April 27. A limited number of single tickets are being offered at $100 each. It’s a fun evening, delicious dinner, lively auction, and a chance to support the important work we do. Additionally, Table Sponsorships start at $1000 so if you know a group or business that would like to support us, please send them our way. Deadline for sponsorships is April 10. We are thrilled to bring back our American Sign Language (ASL) classes! Thank you to UCP for providing classroom space and deepest appreciation to instructor Heidi Hollander for her leadership and instruction. We anticipate another session of classes later in the year. If you are interested in learning another language, stay tuned for more info.

No matter the weather, keep a spring in your step and a song in your heart!

Wild West Gala

Our Annual Wild West Gala is fast approaching and we still have a limited number of tickets available. Join us for a fun evening of food, auctions, and dancing the night away.

Golf with First Tee

Join us for a 4-week golf skills camp with the First Tee-Central Valley. Coaches are First Tee trained and love working with beginners. Golf is hosted on Wednesdays in May at Dryden Golf Course. Put on some comfy clothes and don't forget some water, see you on the course!

Sign Language

We have been able to bring back our sign language classes this year and plan to have more upcoming opportunities for community members. Future classes have yet to be announced but stay tuned in the coming months for any updates.

If you are interested in taking sign language classes, get on our waitlist today! Classes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Day on the Farm

The wait is over, registration for our Annual Day on the Farm event is NOW OPEN! This is a fun-filled, family-inclusive day for everyone to come and hang out. We will be exploring different parts of the farm which include: hayrides, gardening, horseback riding, activities, and more!

Water Ski

The weather is slowly getting warmer. Warmer weather means the start of our Water Ski season. Sign up for our upcoming water ski season now before space fills up! We have a few dates throughout the summer to choose from, and volunteers are always welcome.
