VegFest Returns This June!
The excitement is growing for this year's VegFest! The event will showcase some of the best vegan food Michigan has to offer. From the chick'n and waffle breakfast sandwich to a quinoa power bowl, everyone is sure to find something they will love. In addition to great food, we will offer fresh fruit smoothies, raw juices, kombucha, and other great drinks. No VegFest would be complete without the most amazing desserts and this year will be no exception. We will also have six of the best plant-based food trucks in Michigan. VegFest will host more than 50 food vendors in all, including your old favorites and many new ones. In addition to all of this great food, we will offer sustainable shopping, natural personal care, free literature, live music, and more! We have found the perfect location to host our first-ever outdoor VegFest. The event will take place on Sunday, June 5, from 10am to 4pm, at Eastern Market in downtown Detroit. Last but not least, this year's VegFest is a free admission event! Come and enjoy a wonderful spring afternoon, delicious food, and an all-around great time! Volunteering is Fun and Rewarding
Volunteering is a great way to make new friends and help a cause that you are passionate about. VegMichigan has volunteer opportunities for our upcoming VegFest, presentations, and pledge program. In addition, we are creating a wildlife committee and farm animal committee to help better advocate for our animal friends on a local level. If you have an interest in learning more about any of these volunteer opportunities, please contact olivia@vegmichigan.org.
