This is a great season of the year. I love Spring time as everything begins to bloom and everything looks like its coming back to life even though the trees, bushes, etc., never really died. Of course, the greatest reason I love this time of year is because we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. There were many who speculated that when Jesus died on the cross that it was the end, but on the third day he arose and is sitting at the right hand of His Father in Heaven. The fact that He arose is just not good news, it’s GREAT news! Because He lives, we can face tomorrow, and rest assured we have a hope that we will live eternally with Him forever! As our churches are getting ready to celebrate the resurrection, let me encourage every Christian to invite at least one lost person to the services on Easter Sunday. I know that our Pastors are preparing their messages and the good news of the Gospel will be preached. I believe there could be hundreds of lives changed forever if we will invite and then pray that our lost friends place their faith in Christ as the Gospel message is preached! May we be faithful in making sure that our lost friends and neighbors know the hope that is found in Christ as we celebrate our risen Savior.
