Hey seniors: Join us on Wednesday, June 8th at Washington Transit Center for a day dedicated to you! Beginning at 9:00 a.m. we'll have free snacks and refreshments set up in the transit center for you to grab before you hop on the bus. Freedom Transit staff will be on hand to sign up seniors for a Senior Transit ID Card which can be used for FREE bus fares on fixed route service. Already have a Senior Transit Card? Bring your current card and we'll get you signed up for one of our new Freedom Transit smartcard Senior Cards which are more durable and provide a more accurate passenger count on board the buses.

There will also be raffle items displayed for riders to enter to win, including gift cards to local restaurants and shops as well as game tickets for local sporting events including the Washington Wild Things. We'll also have plenty of freebies from Freedom Transit and local community partners.

From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. senior services vendors will be set up in the transit center so make sure to stop by their booths to find out about what is available to you as a senior citizen in Washington County.
