Please join us on Monday, April 26th for our virtual open house of the new Hope House shelter and apartments. We are thrilled to have congratulatory messages from Governor Inslee, Senator Maria Cantwell and Senator Patty Murray. To participate, visit any of our social media platforms or website to view the tour and hear from our guest speakers so you can see the building you helped create!
I Remember Mama
Dear Friend,

For over 20 years, Volunteers of America has hosted a Mother's Day tribute luncheon for 150 senior women, in low-income housing, who would otherwise be spending this special day alone. These ladies have no one to celebrate Mother's Day with - they receive no cards, no phone calls, no gifts.

Your gift of only $35 will sponsor one of these treasured Mama's.

If you would like to make this gift in honor of your Mother, Grandmother, or other special “Mama” in your life, we will send a Mother’s Day card to them.

Many of them look forward to this luncheon as the only time of year they are treated to a special event in their honor.

Can you help us make these 'Mama's' day special?

Helping our VOA Texans
Volunteers of America of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho employees came together to donate to the ‘Help our VOA Texans Campaign’ and collected over $1400 for Volunteers of America Texas. All the funds collected will directly benefit the employees of VOA to help with food insecurity and home damage caused by the inclement weather.

“While our winter has been pretty mild, our friends at the Texas affiliate have not been so lucky,” stated Fawn Schott VOA CEO. “It was important to the team to help the helpers in such a difficult time.”
