CLIENT STORY

On a Path of Recovery

Gregory* is an upbeat, laid back gentleman whom we have the pleasure to serve on Saturdays. He used to have a life that included a steady job, family, a home, and hobbies. He lost all of them when he fell into addiction several years ago from medication for an inner ear disease.

Today, after working hard at turning his life around, Gregory has been clean and sober for about six months and counting. He is an abundance of positivity and hope while he continues to rebuild his life. Gregory tries to assist others who are in crisis and helps other addicts climb the mountain to sobriety.

Way to go, Gregory! We are rooting for you!

Thank you, I A.M. Hope NJ, Denville, for providing spring baskets for the younger population we serve! Many little ones were taken back by the delightful surprise and were full of joy while discovering the treasures in their baskets.

Sisters of Christian Charity

Many thanks to the Sisters of Christian Charity, Mendham, for donating blessing bags, cleaning supplies, women's and men's clothing, socks, paper products, toiletries, toilet paper, and plastic utensils. We are excited to receive so many high priority items that will benefit many folks we serve.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

Amazon

Our partnership with Amazon continues to grow! Sparrow House Outreach now receives large donations from three Amazon distribution centers in New Jersey. Our team picks up 10 to 120 boxes each week filled with a variety of Amazon products such as laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, clothing, nonperishable food, toiletries, and much more.

We are delighted to bring these highly needed items to the families and individuals whom we serve. An every day staple such as hand soap is a wonderful gift to someone in poverty. We are full of gratitude for Amazon's generosity and thoughtfulness toward those in need.
