A Message from Executive Director Chris Bradley
Greetings,
April is a big month for libraries. National Library Week kicks off April 4th, April 7th is Library Giving Day, and on April 5th we unlock the doors of the Mystic & Noank Library!

We are still reopening slowly but safely, so we ask that you sign in when you visit, limit your visit to the first floor, and abide by a limit of ten patrons in the library.

April 2021 is also the month when the Friends of the Library restart the publication of Bookends, their beautiful magazine about all things Mystic and Noank.

It was almost April 2021 when our Children's Librarian, Roberta Donahue, went to the Stonington Animal Shelter to pick up our two little sister cats! We are all over the moon about the return of cats to Mystic & Noank Library. They are getting acclimated on the second floor (another reason we are confining patrons to the first for now).

Who said April is the cruelest month?

Thank you,
Chris Bradley
The Friends of the Mystic & Noank Library would like to thank everyone who supported the Friends Art & More Auction Series.
The Friends raised needed funds which will be used toward Library programs and activities!

Donate to the Mystic & Noank Library
The Mystic & Noank Library receives less than 30% of our annual funding from state and local government allocations. We must rely on philanthropy for the balance of our operating income (over 70%) in order to maintain the same high quality programs and services for our patrons.

Every dollar is critical in our efforts to provide engaging, inspiring and creative programming and services for our community. Please support Mystic & Noank Library today!
