Celebrate Arbor Day with the City of Rancho Cordova and Cordova Recreation & Park District by planting new trees in our community! The tree planting will take place on April 4 from 8:30 AM – 12 PM at Lincoln Village Community Park.

Lincoln Village Street Rehabilitation


In the Lincoln Village neighborhood, improvements will be made, including resurfaced roadways, upgraded drainage infrastructure, high-visibility pavement markings, and upgraded curb ramps to meet current accessibility standards. Free Pet Vaccine & Microchip Clinic Dates for 2026


The City of Rancho Cordova Animal Services Division is offering free drive-thru rabies vaccines and microchips for pets belonging to Rancho Cordova residents throughout 2026. Appointments are required and open two weeks prior to each clinic date. Clinics are held from 8 AM - 12 PM at Neighborhood Services, 2880 Gold Tailings Court.

Between the months of April through August, wildlife and feline offspring are popping up in the most surprising situations, sometimes requiring intervention for their survival. The most common orphaned animals needing care are kittens, opossums, squirrels and fledglings.

Assistant Chief Quis Formoli brings over 26 years of law enforcement experience, with a career spanning patrol, investigations, custody operations, communications, and executive leadership.


Rancho Cordova holds deep personal significance for Assistant Chief Formoli. After immigrating from the Middle East, his family established roots in the community, where he was raised and graduated from Cordova High School.


As Assistant Chief, he is committed to leveraging his experience to support personnel, strengthen community partnerships, and advance public safety for the Rancho Cordova community.

Each year, thanks to generous sponsors, partners, and a portion of Airshow ticket proceeds, the California Capital Airshow awards scholarships to students pursuing education in aviation, aerospace engineering, environmental science, airport management, aircraft maintenance, aviation safety, and other STEM fields. Applications close May 1. Recipients will be announced on June 1.
