Hey teammates!
What’s the BIG deal about Easter? JESUS WON!
Your sins and my sins are forgiven because Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:7 that if Christ was not raised, we are still in our sins. Our sin problem has been abolished by the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior. Not only are our sins forgiven but we will receive a resurrected body (Philippians 3:20-21). When we pass on to the other side of eternity, we will be given a glorious body that will never sin again, will never get sick again, and where every tear will be wiped away.
Paul bet the farm on Jesus and put all his eggs in the basket of resurrection. The implications of Easter are simply staggering, and that’s why it’s a BIG deal! Our faith is not in vain and our ministry to coaches and athlete's is worth every trail and test. Christianity is not a sham. It is the greatest rescue mission in human history. So, let’s worship with our whole heart, mind, body, soul, and strength this Easter! JESUS WON!!!
Your Teammate in Christ,
Robert Green

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
SOUTHERN ALABAMA FCA | CTO WEEKEND
Dennis and Jan Hayford, along with the Southern Alabama FCA staff, hosted a CTO weekend earlier in March with 51 couples attending! Just like in competition, a retreat like this is designed to help coaches and their spouses catch their breath, evaluate where they are, and refocus on the game plan. Praise the Lord with us for the opportunity FCA has to invest in coaches and their marriages with Gospel hope!
"Year 5 of CTO is in the books and I’m already trying to figure out dates for next year so it’s blocked off! We absolutely love this weekend and getting to be in the Word with other coaches and their spouses who just get it! God first. Marriage second. If we don’t get that right, we can’t do this ministry the way God intends for us to!"
Chan & Allison Lowe

"So many beautiful spiritual nuggets collected this weekend to help accelerate a healthy marriage. I am forever thankful for FCA for orchestrating a marriage retreat for coaches and their wives to reconnect with God and to spend time with other like-minded individuals."

EAST AFRICA MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
Last Thursday, March 19th, over 150 attendees gathered to celebrate all that God is doing through East Africa FCA with our annual Safari Banquet dinner! We shared God’s heart for the nations through the World Vision Illustration, testimonies from goers, how God used us to Pray, Give, and Go in 2025, and the gospel was preached from FCA Alabama Staff Mitchell Dean, our 2026 Pioneer Award recipient. We also got to share about our exciting partnership with Compassion International in Ethiopia! It was a fruitful night, raising over $50,000 for the ministry. We praise God for all the generous donors, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make the night a success!
We are also in the process of gathering Pray Give Go needs and ministry plans from each of our global partners during April and formatting to present clearly to our region during the May Director’s meetings. We are thankful for the many ways God is allowing us to reach coaches and athletes with the gospel of Jesus Christ in East Africa!
