Cicadas Return to Region This Summer
Cicadas return late April/early May, and it's the large Brood X that appears once every 17 years. As mentioned in our Spring print edition of Amberley Village News, there's even an app for that!

Visit cicadasafari.org via the link below to learn more about these insects, as well as the Cicada Safari app and other resources. You're guaranteed to learn a lot, and just may be able to help others learn, too
Planning Ahead: One Stop Drop Update
& Electronics Recycling Options
As mentioned in earlier newsletters, the annual One Stop Drop will be moved to the fall months to ensure adequate time for the COVID vaccine to reach its fullest effect. Unfortunately, however, this year's event will not include electronics recycling.

Make plans to recycle your electronics ahead of time at one of the Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub's Electronics Recycling Events, which begin on April 10 and run through May 29. These events are held on Saturdays

The Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub events are held, rain or shine, on Saturdays at their location in Lower Price Hill from 10 AM until 2 PM at their warehouse location at 911 Evans Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45204. The event dates are: April 10 & 24, and May 15 & 29.

More dates will be released soon on their website at www.cincinnatirecyclingandreusehub.org and on their social media pages.

Look for information to come in subsequent E-News and print newsletter editions regarding the One Stop Drop, and be sure to check out the Amberley Village website, as well as sign up for emails to receive regular updates!

Amberley Village is committed to keeping lines of communication open and accessible between residents and government officials. In this spirit, Amberley Village has incorporated Village-issued email addresses for Councilmembers into its digital communications protocol.

These measures unify the format, making it easier for residents to send a message when an issue comes to mind. The member's first initial followed by last name (no space) @amberleyvillage.org will get your message on its way to members of the Amberley Village Council.
