April 2025

Everything Evergreen

Hello there Janice,

Evergreen Heritage Center Foundation is excited to be hosting Spring Field Trips! We're kicking off this season of warmth with visits from ACPS Earth & Space Science students and After School students.

Don't forget, we have two workshops this month–Your Environmental Footprint on April 12 @ 10 a.m., Artists of Evergreen Workshop on April 12 @ 1:00 p.m. & Bird Walk & Talk on April 26 @ 9:30 a.m.

Spring has brought out some of the coolest wildlife on the property!

RSVP for Workshops

Our Spring Festival will take place on May 3 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. We'll have our annual native plant sale, museum tours, vendors, kids activities, and more!

The More You Know!

Annuals or Perennials? The age old question. Annuals may have fun and vibrant colors, but they only last for a short time. Perennials come back each year and provide more longevity in your garden.

Consider buying native perennials–they'll be less work in the long run and provide you with a meadow of opportunity!
