The Competitive Edge: Promoting sustainability is not just about doing good; it's a strategic advantage in a competitive marketplace. By advertising your eco-friendly products and practices, you educate customers about responsible choices and cultivate a loyal following. This approach elevates awareness about critical environmental issues and positions your retail facility as a leader in eco-consciousness.

The Bottom Line: Embracing sustainable advertising is not just a marketing strategy; it's a commitment to fostering a healthier planet and building long-lasting relationships with customers. This approach attracts a loyal customer demographic that values ethical practices and sets your products and practices apart in a crowded marketplace.

To being green on the inside...

Luther White Bear Subaru knows the value of conserving precious freshwater resources by utilizing a reclaimed water car wash at their retail facility. This plan of action significantly reduces operational costs and lowers utility expenses, as well as ensuring a water supply that isn't interrupted should drought conditions occur.

This eco-friendly approach not only aligns with increasing regulatory demands for water conservation but also serves to showcase the retailer's commitment to responsible business practices. Retailers that adopt such practices can differentiate themselves in a competitive market, appealing to a growing segment of eco-conscious buyers, thereby fostering a positive brand reputation.

Modesto Subaru -- Modesto, CA

La Loma Native Plant Garden

& Pollinator Festival

It all started in 2017 when Modesto Subaru in Modesto, CA, helped to create a native plant garden in the La Loma neighborhood. In addition to the native plants, the area also included native trees that required minimal watering to thrive, a butterfly garden, a bird habitat, and a walking path meandering throughout the garden.

The retailer has since been active in sponsoring the annual Pollinator Festival at the garden.

A pollinator garden fosters biodiversity and supports vital pollinator populations in the local ecosystem. The garden not only enhances outdoor space but also provides an educational tool to raise awareness of the importance of pollinators.

Modesto Subaru maintains a presence at the festival with an information booth. The retailer feels that this is an important part of community service.

"Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our ongoing support for the La Loma Native Plant Garden. This beautiful space not only enhances our neighborhood but also provides essential habitat for local wildlife. By promoting water-wise landscaping and the use of native plants, we're helping to protect our precious resources and create a healthier, more resilient environment for all."
