Reynolds' Subaru & Lunchtime Trash Cleanups
Reynolds' Subaru in Lyme, CT, knows how to "walk the talk" when it comes to proving commitment to the Subaru Loves the Earth initiative. Reynolds' employee volunteers took to the local roads for Lunchtime Trash Cleanups, resulting in 750 bags of trash collected during the month!
Reynolds' Subaru recently donated a hydration station to Gillette Castle State Park. The hydration station has already served to replace 3,624 plastic bottles -- the equivalent of 74 pounds of plastic -- since it was installed in June, 2023! The installation of the hydration station also increased access to fresh water since the eco-friendly hydration station is accessible even when the visitor center is closed, so visitors can quench their thirst in the off-hours. San Francisco Zone Adopt-A-Highway Retailers
Subaru retailers in the San Fransisco Zone maintain an active presence in California's Adopt-A-Highway Program. From 2019-2023, an estimated 68,862 pounds of trash have been collected due to the efforts of participating. retailers.

Those certified retailers (and the total number of bags collected) involved in the program include:

  • Livermore Subaru in Livermore -- 722
  • Marin Subaru in San Rafael -- 569
  • Maita Subaru in Sacramento -- 2084
  • Serramonte Subaru in Serramonte -- 242
  • Shingle Springs Subaru in Shingle Springs -- 1071
  • Stevens Creek Subaru in San Jose -- 84
  • TOTAL # of Bags Collected -- 11477
