Technology Tips by Evan Abramson, Director of Technology and Innovation

During the month of April, let’s empower our children through digital learning. Explore educational apps and websites tailored to support students with disabilities! Tools like Khan Academy or ABCmouse offer engaging resources that can make learning fun and effective. Set specific learning goals with your child, such as completing a certain number of lessons each week. You could even have them teach you something they learned from an app, reinforcing their understanding while building confidence.

Transition Talk

If your child is turning eighteen or if you are interested in learning about your options when your child does turn eighteen, you may wish to attend the webinar series from Newroads Financial Group, “My Child Just Turned 18. What do I Need to Do?” The topic will be presented virtually by Lisa Ford, Senior Director at the Family Institute, ARC of New Jersey, on Thursday, April 10th, at 6:30 p.m. If you wish to attend this webinar, please register with Earl Pedersen at 908-713- 0469 or (epedersen@newroadsfinancial.com).
