Dear Trinity Church,
Now that we’re in the midst of the 50-day season of Easter, I just want to take a moment to look back in gratitude to God and to you.
I hope you had a meaningful Lent and Holy Week. I am thankful for everyone who made that time a special one, from decorating the Lenten (now Easter) cross, to the wonderful music throughout the season, the Procession of Palms on Palm Sunday, the moving Maundy Thursday Dinner and Last Supper Experience, and the joyous Easter Sunday celebrations. I pray that your journey with Jesus Christ in remembering his life, death, and resurrection was, and is, spiritually enriching for you.
May the Easter season give you new life, new joy, and renewed hope!
Blessings,
Will

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk.
In Boston, the partial eclipse will begin at 2:16 p.m. and end at 4:39 p.m. with maximum (about 93%) occurring at 3:29 p.m. During a 93% totality, or even as high as 99% you will notice a crescent sun and a bit of a dimming of the daylight. One-hundred-percent totality is a completely different and amazing experience! Day turns to night, and you see the amazing solar corona, essentially the darkness of the moon surrounded by a ring of fire.

Happy Spring!
The Deacons have been hard at work through the first quarter of the year to continue to discern what the options for Trinity Church are in the future. To that end, we will be holding an informational congregational meeting on April 7, 2024. after worship. Please note that you are the decision makers for our church. You vote on the path of Trinity.
The Deacons are exploring the options we talked about in November, and will present the options to help us all make an informed decision. Please know that you can talk with any of the Deacons with questions. We will move forward together, as a church community, continuing to fulfill our mission and worship God. See you all on April 7th.

Hello Trinity Church Community!
Wow! We had a beautiful Lenten Season & Easter Day with a lot of music and artistic expressions of faith and scripture reading. I extremely enjoyed sharing those weekly experiences with all of you. Thank you to everyone who put time into making our services & events a success!
Here is a quick look at what musical opportunities April will bring us:
-
April 7th - Pam and I will bring another Piano/Organ duet for the Special Music, as well as a Traditional Communion Service.
- April 14th - I will be traveling this week to visit family in Arkansas. Robin Jubenville will fill in for me to accompany some well-known hymns and a beautiful Choir Special.
- April 21st - This Sunday will be the last Service in the Season for our Worship Band. They are preparing some lively Praise Music in addition to an Instrumental Postlude. For the Special Music, I will be singing a Classic Solo accompanied by Pam. You won’t want to miss this week!
- April 28th - The Hand Bell Choir will present a unique arrangement called “Song of Gladness” that includes familiar melodies and fun styles of playing for great visual effects.
For our Song of the Month for April, I chose “Holy, Holy, Holy’ - #4 in the Chalice Hymnal. Many of you will find great comfort in this song. I hope we will sing it out with a Joyful Noise each week!
And for a Sung Benediction, we will sing a 3 short verses and chorus of “Alleluia” - #106 in the Chalice Hymnal. Even if it is new to you, I feel confident that the repeated words & simple melody will make it accessible to everyone.
The few months after Easter is a great time to “test the waters” with any of our music ensembles. Each of the groups will be learning 1-2 more songs for the months of April & May and then take off for the Summer months. If you’d like more information on rehearsal times, what would be expected, just reach out. May you be rejuvenated with the arrival of Spring!
Until We Meet Again,

Breakfast Fellowship in April will be on the 20th at 8:30 AM.
All cultures around the world have their own creation story. In ancient times, people recorded these stories, presumably to help explain where they came from.
We’ve all read the Genesis creation story. How does this compare to other creation stories from the middle east? How about Asian creation stories, or American, or African?
This month, I want to start looking at creation stories or myths.
We’ll start in April with the Middle East and look again at the story in Genesis along with others from that region. In May, we’ll move on to Asian, African, and American creation stories.
I’ll send out some links for reading in a couple of weeks.
Everyone is welcome to join us on Saturday, April 20 at 8:30 AM for breakfast, fellowship, and discussion.
For more information or to add yourself to the Saturday Breakfast Fellowship email list, please contact Tom at: tomdan4@gmail.com

Girl Scout Troop 65324
As part of their badge earning process, the Girl Scouts have asked if they could plant a flower garden and maintain it in an area that would able to expand over time with the troop.
There is a small area where Pastor Will parks his car and that he can see out his window that they have chosen and would work well for them. So if you happen to see them in that area, they are working hard on earning their "planting" badge say hello.
