Dear TCWV Sisters, Ambassadors and Supporters,
May is a season of renewal—a time when the world around us comes alive with growth, light, and possibility. It is also a month of deep meaning, as we pause to recognize Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day—honoring those who serve and remembering the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
As we observe National Military Appreciation Month, along with Mental Health Awareness Month and Skin Cancer Awareness Month, we are reminded of the importance of caring for one another—and for ourselves. Strength is not only found in service, but also in compassion, connection, and resilience.
Here at Tri-County Women Veterans (TCWV), May reflects the very heart of who we are—active, engaged, and united in purpose. From our weekly golf gatherings and cash raffle to supporting the Villages Honor Flight Golf Tournament, Armed Forces Day events, Memorial observances, our SHEROES Fishing Trip, and the Crystal River Food Tour—each moment is an opportunity to uplift, connect, and make a difference.
Together, we are more than an organization—we are a sisterhood bound by service, strength, and shared purpose. Your presence, your leadership, and your commitment continue to inspire and empower those around you.
As we move through this meaningful month, may we carry forward a spirit of gratitude, honor, and unity—remembering that the legacy of service lives on through each of us.
Wishing you a joyful Mother’s Day, a reflective and meaningful Memorial Day, and a May filled with purpose and connection.
With gratitude, pride, and respect,
Betsy
Until next time—stay strong, stay connected, and continue to lead with heart.
