We will view migratory birds and late spring wildflowers! While following the trail we will visit both meadow and forest, providing a great opportunity for a diversity of species to be spotted.
These events are free but space is limited - we ask that you RSVP to Emily Dunn, Stewardship Program Manager (emily@hunterdonlandtrust.org).

Thank you to the below grantors for their support of Hunterdon Land Trust!
Hunterdon County awarded Hunterdon Land Trust $85,200 to purchase 5.68 acres in Readington Township for public open space. Preservation of the property will enhance water quality, protect the stream corridor, mitigate flooding, provide critical species habitat, and expand the greenway corridor.
Hunterdon County awarded the City of Lambertville $209,000 to help permanently protect Holcombe Park located in downtown Lambertville. Hunterdon Land Trust submitted the grant on behalf of the City to protect the natural, cultural, and historic resources of the property while also ensuring the continued use of the land as a place for the public to gather and recreate.
Hunterdon County awarded Hunterdon Land Trust $5,000 in American Rescue Funds to address negative economic impacts as a result of the pandemic crisis. These funds support the Dvoor Farm Rehabilitation Project.
The George A. Ohl, Jr. Trust awarded Hunterdon Land Trust $7,500 as part of their Supporting a Healthy Community: Conservation & Education program. This funding will be used to support operations during FYE 2024.
American Farmland Trust awarded Hunterdon Land Trust $10,000 to participate in a Soil Health Stewards program focused on promoting soil health on grazed lands.

Dvoor Farm Project - Construction Update | |
Our progress continues at the Dvoor Farm! The Bank Barn’s cupolas have been rebuilt and installed, and the new forebay has been constructed. The building has new windows and doors and a waterproof skin, as seen in the above photo. The next task is to install the new slate roof and apply insulation and new siding to the barn's exterior.
We are grateful to the many individual donors, New Jersey Historic Trust, Raritan Township, and Hunterdon County, who have provided the funding for this phase of the project.
Below, enjoy this impressive aerial drone footage captured by W.S. Cumby Construction, Inc., our construction management company for this project!
