May 3 Event With Ambassadors Highlights Africa Trade
|
I’m writing from Accra, Ghana, where I’ve been speaking with countless other WTC leaders and company representatives about the strength of Delaware’s businesses. This year’s World Trade Center General Assembly is an opportunity to highlight the world’s fastest-growing continent and the many opportunities for exporting that are available. Participating in the trade show was Mohamed Cisse, president of Tungsten Global Consulting, who saw tremendous interest in his lab equipment from companies and government agencies. There was also interest in the Port of Wilmington, the Foreign Trade Zone, incorporation and business services, agriculture and tourism.
I’d like to invite everyone to a special forum coming up May 3 on U.S.-Africa trade right here in Delaware, which will feature ambassadors from Botswana, Nigeria, and Tanzania speaking about opportunities in their countries. The event kicks off the U.S.-Africa Business Summit in July, and will also feature a resource panel from federal agencies and national organizations and a preview of the Delaware Diamond Auction on May 9.
