Creation Care
As Lutheran Christians, we trust that God’s love does not stop at the edge of humanity. It spills over into soil and river, creature and cosmos. Creation matters to God because God made it and called it good— every inch of it shimmering with intention.
And more than that, God continues to meet us there: in the waters of Baptism, in the bread and wine of Holy Communion, and in the flesh-and-blood life of Jesus Christ himself. The holy is not far off. It is rooted, flowing, and breathing all around us!
In this month’s Voices of Faith, you’ll encounter stories of people and communities showing up in the natural world with intention and hope. They help us discover that to care for creation is to become aware that we are all a part of God’s beautiful creation together.
