WE ARE OPEN FOR BROWSING!
NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK
April 5th-10th is National Library Week and the theme for 2021 is “Welcome to Your Library”.

After a year of virtual programming and curbside services, we are ready to welcome you back in person to our library!

Stop by the library to see our brand new Little Fairy Library display.  Participate in a seek & find contest by answering questions about the intricately detailed fairy worlds.  After you answer the questions, you will be entered into a prize drawing.  The first prize will be a $25 Dairy Queen gift certificate but there will also be many other smaller prizes.

April is also Ohio Native Plant Month.  As a gift to our patrons for National Library Week, the Lithopolis Garden Club will be providing each family that visits the library seeds to plant their own Ohio native plant as well as information on native plants.  One seed packet per family please.

WRITING CLUB
Hi current and future writers,

The survey has been completed and the majority are available Thursday Evenings from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm. The first meeting will be April 15th.
We will meet monthly the third Thursday of every month in the upper level of the Wagnalls Memorial Library. Subsequent meetings for your calendars in 2021 will be: May 20th, June 17th, July 15th, August 19th, September 16th, October 21th, November 18th and December 16th.

The first meeting in April is most important since I will be getting input from the group as to what they would want for future meetings. We will also have a planned mini agenda at the first meeting, and will abide by any COVID guidelines from the Library.

This Writers Group is for current and future Writers, but also for other interested persons. Hope to see many of you at the first meeting. If you could RSVP your attendance for this April meeting, it would help in setting up proper seating per COVID guidelines.

For more information, contact Bill Sykes at [email protected].
