CEO Update
Greetings, YMCA Friends.

Spring reminds us there are always opportunities for a fresh start. As we recover from this last year, we must also continue to protect and support one another.

Our Y remains steadfast in our mission to strengthen those who need us most. Families can count on us for affordable child care and summer camp experiences that nurture the social and emotional development of children. Teens can achieve their fullest potential. Individuals can access supportive counseling, addiction and mental health services. Seniors who have been isolated have a place to stay healthy and socialize.

For those who can't afford our fees, financial assistance is available thanks to those who lend a helping hand. Learn about our Annual Campaign happening now. We welcome your support!

HOUSING ASSISTANCE

The COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (CVERAP) Phase II provides temporary rental assistance to low- and moderate-income households affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Online applications for NJ residents can be submitted online at njdca.onlinepha.com.

VACCINATION SAFETY

Communities of color are disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more about vaccine safety and concerns for communities of color from our friends at CentraState Healthcare System.

TOOLKIT FOR FAMILIES: RESPONDING TO LOSS & CHANGE

Change and loss experienced throughout the pandemic can impact everyone differently and cause disconnection for families. Use this workbook from the National Alliance of Grieving Children to create space for everyone's emotions and connect your family in healing.

This month our YMCA Togetherhood® program is helping to nurture a healthy environment for all. Join us on Saturday, April 17 at 10 a.m. for Spring Beach Sweeps in support of Clean Ocean Action.
